Just had a phone call from Bob today.  He lives in Oregon but was in the Mpls./St. Paul area visiting family. He looked up my number and gave me a call. We had talked about a year ago or more when he started talking about traveling to the Czech homeland.

                      

He spoke very highly of you-said you were "absolutely terrific" on  their trip to the Czech Republic. You had contacted people in the villages he wanted to visit and you were welcomed warmly. They got to go into the family homes and saw so much. He was very pleased and satisfied.

Jan, we can't thank you enough for the amazing two days we spent with you!  You did an excellent job in locating relatives we did not know about and having you there when we met them to translate for us was invaluable.  Although the rest of our trip through Eastern Europe was very nice, the experience of meeting relatives from our ancestral towns was the highlight of our tour.  We would be glad to give you our highest recommendation as genealogical researcher, tour guide, and translator, if you would like to use us as references.
